Stir Fried Okra
Ingredients
- 1/4 kg tender okras, chopped into 1″ inch pieces
- Chopped tomatoes- 1 large or 2 small
- Cumin seeds/powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Chopped coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
Directions
- Heat oil in a skillet and add the onions. Fry until they're translucent.
- Add the tomatoes and salt. Fry until the tomatoes are a little mushy.
- Now add all the powdered spices and mix well. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the okras and stir fry until the okras are tender.This should take about 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
